Dislexia International

I advocate for the interests of people with dyslexia by lobbying and informing key decision makers, governmental ministers, leading educational establishments, educational experts and concerned professionals worldwide. We do this through Dyslexia International’s partnership with UNESCO, the World Dyslexia Forums and our bank of high-quality, scientifically-vetted, cost-free teacher training materials.

Dyslexia International offer free-to-all open education resources and courseware. Our vision is to see dyslexia addressed within education systems worldwide, and fully understood as an inhibitor to personal development and social integration unless it is identified and addressed.

Dyslexia International aim to build the Dyslexia International e-Campus into a sustainable service for education authorities, trainers and teachers worldwide – a venue for education providers to share knowledge and ideas, and for teachers and trainers to access quality, scientifically-vetted courses and resources, free of charge, to enhance their teaching capabilities.

À propos

Dyslexia International asbl, a non-profit organization, was registered in Brussels, Belgium in 2000. In collaboration with a Scientific Advisory Panel and a team of online consultants in literacy and reading difficulties, Dyslexia International promotes free and fair education and equal opportunities for those who struggle with reading and writing by making teacher training the priority. The organization brings together ministerial officers in charge of teacher training, university researchers and local networks to address the interests of over 10 percent of the world population who risk life-long illiteracy and marginalization, unless they are taught by appropriately trained teachers using methods that meet their learning needs.
